Haemoglobin is an important protein fundamental of our red blood cells that transfers oxygen from lungs to body’s tissues and returns carbon dioxide from tissues back to lungs so that living cells can perform properly. It plays very important role for superior healthy life and is necessary to keep it maintained.
Low hemoglobin level is referred to as anemia. Where a high level of hemoglobin may become a reason for Dehydration. It can be seen in people who lives at hill place and people who smoke.

In newborns: 17 to 22 gm. /dl
In children’s: 11 to 13 gm. /dl
Male: 14 to 18 gm. /dl
Female: 12 to 16 gm. /dl

Iron is an essential for blood creation. 70 % of iron found in Haemoglobin. It is necessary to maintain iron by having iron contained food to keep hemoglobin maintain.
It contains lots of essential nutrients, vitamins (A and B), and minerals that require for being healthy. It is an excellent source of iron and carries 0.90mg/100g of fruits. It also helps to protect colon mucous membrane from chemicals- that can cause cancer.
It is one of the natural sources of vitamins (A, C, E), folic acid and iron. By having this, supply of iron in blood increases.
It helps to fight against cancer (Prostate cancer in men, Breast cancer in women), Arthritis and reduces joint pain.
It contains 90% of water and is considered as a most refreshing, thirst destroying fruit. It is loaded with Vitamins (A and C), iron, potassium and other nutritive minerals and helps to clean a kidney.

Vitamin C insufficiency is the reason for low Haemoglobin. Without Vitamin C, iron can’t be fully consumed by the body. Eat food that is rich in Vitamin C like Papaya, Orange, Lemon, Strawberries, Spinach, Guava, and Nettle.
There is a proverb- “An Apple a day keeps the doctor away”. With other health nutrients, Apple is rich in iron. Eat at least 1 apple (green apple if possible) with its skin, once a day.
- Eat food that contains Vitamin B6 like whole grains, sunflower seeds, lentils, peas, nuts, garlic, wheat bread, rice bran.
